An excellent watch winder! May 14, 2009 I was quite skeptical with the product at first. However after reading the reviews, I gave the product a try. I have it for a month now and it's still running great. It is a good buy for the price. I keep the winder by the bedside, and both wife and I do not hear any noise from the motor. I'll provide an update if the motor is dead. Cross my fingers.
I gave it a 3 because the face cover of top winder is a bit loose, but the winder is working fine - just a little care to remove the watch, otherwise it is 4 star. I didn't bother with the hassle to ship back for replacement. The unit comes with 1 year warranty.
bad customer service, bad watch winder Mar 12, 2009 I bought this item watch winder. it worked for about a week before it stopped working. I've sent several e-mails to seller with no reply. don't bye from these people not because of the product but service. or the lack there of.
Very good watchwinder Feb 08, 2009 I've just received this winder and i can say it looks incredible good. I'm still starting using that but i believe i had a great deal.
CHEAP AND RELIABLE WATCH WINDER Feb 05, 2009 A VERY REASONABLE WATCH WINDER AND A RELIABLE ONE. HAS MANY SETTINGS TO ADJUST FOR YOUR OPTION ON DELAYS.
Good for what it is Jan 21, 2009 An inexpensive watchwinder will either work or not. I don't understand what it is about the motors in these things that make them prone to giving up, but that is the nature of the beast.
So I ordered two of this particular winder. One worked and one did not. The company was very fast to send me a new winder and a pre-paid shipping label to return the broken one. I wouldn't hesitate to order another one from this company.
The winder itself looks ok and has 4 settings to change the winding vs non-winding time.
The winder is relatively quiet. The only real noise you hear is the watch itself shifting back and forth if it isn't a tight fit on the insert.
So if you are in the market for a cheap winder, I would recommend this one mostly because of the company selling it. Most winders under $300 have about a 30% mortality rate out of the box (made up number, but I like it) so it's good to know that if you get a clunker the company will take care of you.
