It's a big one............................................................................................. May 02, 2007
By Melissa S. Fink I've only been wearing it for 2 days so far, but this watch has made it through two days gardening and banging around handwashing dishes no problem. I really like that this watch feels heavy-duty. I am no longer worried about dropping my watch or forgeting it's on when I jump in the shower. I am a big Disney fan and have bought countless watches disney themed only to be buying a new watch a few months down the road. I don't do much sporty stuff, but I needed a watch that wasn't gonna kick the bucket a few months down the road. As somebody else stated on the blue version of this watch, the color in the pictures aren't true to what the color actually is. The band is alot more sub-dued in color, kinda like a lavender/gray color see through jelly band, very pretty and more adult like than other sport watches with color on them. It does take a bit getting use to have a big face on the watch for me, but if it stays alive for me, I'll deal( I prefer more petite watches). If anything happens to it, I'll revise my review. :)

Great Watch May 12, 2007
By JS It's bigger than the average women's watch and very well made. It has a lot of neat features. Besides telling time and showing the date, it can store up to 20 phone numbers or other important info. It's a stopwatch, an alarm clock, and a world timekeeper. It also has a blue backlight and an hourly time signal. I love this watch.

Watch "was" cute. After 3 weeks, the side button fell off. Casio repair was TOTALLY useless Sep 03, 2009
By maggie The first baby G I bought was great, lasted for more than 2 yrs and still going. I bought another one for my younger daughter. After 3 wks (1 month from date of order), one of the buttons fell off. My daughter wear it to swimming. She is not an active child. So I sent it in for repair. I got a quote of $30 plus tax, shipping for a $50+ watch to replace the button!!
I was shocked it is not covered under the warranty. So I called the service representative According to her, warranty covers only the mechanistic functioning of the watch. Everything can fall off but if it works, then you are out of luck. But again, they can say you abuse the watch. So I said can't it be a quality control issues? She said, there is no recall. I said not necessary a recall type just manufacturing problem. She said if so, then I would have seen it once I open the box and their QC is 100% !!!!!! Wow, I am amaze. I need to work in Casio manufacturing. She said, "I am not saying it is your child but maybe she hit it somewhere..." At this point I felt that this lady was just saying anything she wants (100% QC!!!)
I said I want to talk to the supervisor, she said "no" since this is not an issue for sup. I insisted and finally someone who claim to be a manager talked to me (This "manager" even got my name wrong). Repeated the whole thing plus that I used tapes to tape the watch onto the box. She said that (the tape) was also a problem!!! I replied that it was done to prevent the watch from "jumping" around during shipping. Wow, now I know that baby G needs to breath so it cannot be taped. Then said my daughter is young, active .... I shut her up by saying, this watch claimed to be for sports. If she cannot jump, swim in it then what good is it? There was no dents or deep scatches on the watch (I want to say no scratch but I never know). She said she will see what she can do and call me. We shall see.
And one reviewer mentioned that the watch gets stuff on it. This one did. Maybe because of the daily swimming my daughter did. That was also a problem she mentioned about this watch not being covered under warranty. I can understand that it may not be covered but the first representative was totally abnoxious. Telling me that it CANNOT be casio's problem. I will not buy a casio product anymore because many camera owners reported problem with their warranties too.

Great watch Dec 02, 2007
By B. Harless This is a great looking watch. It goes well with my work attire. However, it isn't easy to program, set the time, etc. I know someone who actually returned it because it is so difficult to use. But, once you figure it out it is great!

casio baby-g databank watch for ladies Aug 01, 2007
By Blandyna Williams I like this watch. It is lightweight and comfortable, and does not feel bulky. The color is light enough that I can wear it in a format work setting and feel good. I gave it 4 stars only because the databank pages don't seem to automatically sort themselves into alphabetic format, remaining in the random order in which they were entered. Also, there are only 20 data pages, and I would have preferred 30. Otherwise, it is easy to program and the electro-illuminescent back-light is great.
