The best watch built per dollar spent Aug 06, 2010 Purchased this watch in 2005 and must say it has been on my wrist ever since. I have a few watches, but this takes the cake. If you want a decent size watch that may weigh more than the regular watch and can stay on your wrist where ever you go then this is the watch for you. I snorkle and swim in the Southern California oceans and never take this off.
I get more attention to the watch then I do, rarity!!! But those folks that have the same watch or even the titanium version, I notice afar and still to this day can be seen a block away....it's a great family of folks that own this watch!
The great thing is the solar power (no batteries) and the stop ticker (it looks like the "seconds had". However having the watch for OVER 4 YEARS here are the problems that I see. The glass scratches (you can replace at any watch store - $20 bucks to order and another $20 to $40 bucks for labor), the stop ticker when pressing in the gauge button on the right side of the watch, it tends to not start/stop (I have to push down with a slight torque to get going/stop). The calendar date needs to be adjust month to month based on the days in the month. The alarm clock I don't use, never have....it sometimes goes off accidentally.
The pro's, women and men love this watch, you will get asked to show your watch more than a handful in the short lifetime of owning. I've adjusted the band a few times and the links never fail or break.... The watch actually changes colors, when outside and come back in, it has a "glow" to it, a plantinum look...cant describe, but is an amazing feeling to see this magic occur on my wrist!
I will be purchasing my second Citizen (Titanium) soon! But te only down side I see to the Titantium to the silver is that the silver shines like nothing I have ever seen!
Great Watch Aug 06, 2010 There is one word to describe this watch and the word is Stunning. This watch gather more praise than even my more expensive watches, it just stands out and demand attention from anyone who happen to glance down at your wrist. Having said that there are a few thing i would like to mention about this watch that I think prospective buyer would like to know.
The Alarm is almost useless. Setting the alarm to be exact to the minute is practically impossible to do and the sound is not that loud, altho not a problem for me since i have a cellphone for that.
This watch is in the heavy side. Not really heavy to be an annoyance but enough for you to feel its there, and I am sure with regular use you would hardly notice.
All in all it's a great watch and with Citizen quality and craftsmanship behind it, I am sure you too would fall in love with this watch.
WHAT A MASTER PICE LOVE IT Jul 21, 2010 I Love watches and have many of them if becomes an addition this is my third Citizen Watch and let me tell you is a Master piece just like all the other watches they make, and for the money you are paying for this watch it should cost three times as much compare to all the expensive watches out there the most expensive watch I owed is a Formex 4Speed Watch Cigarette Limited Edition it cost me over $1000.00 and I love it but it requires service my Citizen watches don't they even charge themselves what else do you want from a watch they are beautiful and like I said they should cost at least 3 times as much. If you want a beautiful reliable watch that only needs you to wear it and it maintains itself worry free, stylish, and just beautiful. Just get one and you will see what I mean.
Nice watch! Jan 31, 2010 Great watch. Very detailed, classic style sportwatch that is built to last. It's not too heavy and has great adjustibility to fit your wrist. Neon glows for 2+ hours. Amazon's price point made it a great buy too!
Love this watch. Dec 28, 2009 I just received this watch as a Christmas present from my girlfriend and It is sweet. I had told her I was looking for a second watch to give my Tag a rest and I gave her three Citizen watches I would wear. She gave me this one and its a beauty. I really like the contrasting face as it gives the watch an impressive look. It was easy to charge in sunlight and the manual says a full charge could last 240 days. That's impressive as well. My tag only holds a kinetic charge for 3 days. Its light on the wrist and looks like a watch should. I have a new favorite watch.
