Great looking & Quality Mechanical Watch Feb 16, 2007

This is a great looking watch if you are looking for something that does not require batteries. It is a traditional self-winding mechanical watch. Be aware that it will run for only 40 hours if you are not wearing it every day - a bit of an inconvenience if you are using it as a dress watch as it will not get through a weekend before it stops. That said, it is easy enough to set and it is very nice not to worry about batteries - particularly for an occasional watch. It looks great and has a nice feel to it. It is fairly easy to set - once you have figured out the basic logic. It has a second time zone that is tied to the hour hand. What was not initially obvious is that the second time zone is intended to be set to display above the 12 position. My only real complaint with this design is that the date indicator is so small that it is virtually unreadable without bright light an a microscope. (I know my vision isn't that bad!) This is a very good value if you are looking for a mechanical dress watch.
